Not fun!! The maddening part is that I just began experiencing the problem days after the return date expired so now I can''t return it. One other thing I realized early on that was a problem but was livable, was that it was not easy to lift the tray up to get to the lower part of the console. So in all the tray was a great concept but one major miss and one minor complaint has forced me to give this item a poor review and I would NOT RECOMMEND it until they at least change the tray configuration to grab the lip of the console more securely. 4 people found this helpful Helpful Report J. I did add a black drawer pull (see pics) so I can more easily lift it out of the console to get at the "stuff" below it.
June 28 2020 update: Well after six weeks in the hot Texas sun, I found my organizer sitting at the bottom of the console, falling through as mentioned in an earlier review. It turns out that the rear ledge of the console, where the rear of the organizer is supposed to rest, moves back and forth a little and now tends to stay too far back to support the organizer. I have (hopefully) remedied the problem by stuffing a piece of fabric behind that part that moves, pushing it forward. I think the manufacturer could solve the issue by making the rear flange of the organizer a little wider. 10/01/2020: update, once again was falling down in the back. The piece of fabric just didn''t stay in place well enough. This time I drilled two 3/16" holes in the back of the organizer, just under the lip, and pressed a couple of shelf pins in the holes. I made the holes a bit smaller diameter than the pin so that it took some effort to push them in, so they can''t work their way out. Now I cannot imagine any possibility of that organizer falling again. I didn''t have to make any mods to the console, just the organizer. I also wrapped a bit of electrical tape around the shelf pins to avoid any rattling or scratching. One person found this helpful Helpful Report A.
