Also, another thing to keep in mind is that the holes in the tubes are 180 degrees from each other. So I had to pull the cat tree away from the wall for both entrances to be open. It didnt save as much space as I was hoping. I have added photos! I did NOT change the rating, my cats STILL absolutely love this tube!!****

My cats absolutely love this thing! When I was putting it together, my 20 lb tabby (pink nose) immediately went inside the tube, and did not come out for over an hour! It was easy to put together (even wit a 20 lb cat inside lol). The tube is a foot in diameter, plenty large enough for big cats. But, this entire thing set up is about 3 feet long. It is HUGE. make sure you have room!! The cats haven''t seemed interested in the center bed part, so I might unzip the bed part so the center is empty, and connect the tube around the bottom of the cat tree I have. This could be a good space saving option for people worried about the size. (I will update with more photos if I do this).
The material it surprisingly soft, outside and inside the tunnel. And the light coloring allows light to filter through, which my cats like (I had a black tunnel that neither of them would go into).
My smaller 10 lb tabby (black nose) LOVES to run around the house, and now he has added running a few laps inside this tunnel to his run lol. Both cats play in this ALL THE TIME. Both on the inside chasing each other, or one on the inside and one outside batting at each other. They use the tunnel as a good napping spot, and also a spot to hide from the vacuum or guests they aren''t sure of.
This has gotten soooooo much use from both cats. I would highly recommend this!!

INSPECT THE INSIDE OF THE TUNNEL FREQUENTLY!!
A few weeks after I bought this (and right after I bought one for someone else) one of my kittens started SCREAMING and thrashing about inside. It turns out that the kittens had been too aggressive with the inside and had a fistful of threads torn from the inside of the tube halfway down each half where the zippers are. These are also the hardest parts of the tube to casually inspect. One of the kittens was caught in the threads and freaking out. We managed to get him free but it scared us all because THE TUBE LOOKED PERFECTLY FINE FROM THE OUTSIDE. Thank goodness that the kittens only have access to it when someone is in the house. So far our adult cat is a lot calmer in it so he can use it whenever he wants after I make sure I keep the threads cut down with frequent inspections. Pretty soon it will have to be trashed which is a shame because all the cats still love it!
If your cats are calmer than our kittens then I''m sure it is a great tunnel.

I don''t hold out much hope on it lasting too long because my kittens like to attack the fabric, but it is helping them burn off so much kitten energy! It holds up to one pouncing on the top while the other is running around the tube. They also love the inside bed. It''s super soft and just cushioned enough to be comfy but not swallow them up when they lay on it. It is big enough for both the cats (probably together if they got snuggly, but they don''t tend to sleep together) which is great since it seems like too often these cat beds and toys are made for kittens or small females.
I can say the 7yr old male has really been much more active since this arrived. He loves to run through the tunnels (we have it set up almost like a pac-man with the bed in the center and the tunnel wrapping around but not fully connected). The tunnel material is not real thick nor is it crinkly, which is fine, but be careful with claws as they can easily come through the material.
