The store bought food of the same flavor (beef dinner w/ vegetables) is solid brownish in color with an occasional carrot or other veggie the only different color in the food. Amazon readily exchanged the first case for a new one (thank you), however, when the second case arrived with the same fatty issues and I tried to return it, it now comes up as "Item is not eligible for return." We will not risk feeding this version of the food to our dogs nor are we comfortable donating it to a shelter in this condition. And, we are out $24. Granted, they all like the canned lamb the best. But second favorite is chicken. And half of this box is chicken. When I buy a case of just chicken, there''s never an issue. The same two dogs don''t like the beef in this case either. I have no idea what the difference could be, but there should be NO difference. So while I thought the price was ok (not great for the quantity), now I think it''s no bargain at all.
