For me and the golden retriever, this Purina is a compromise of food she likes (other than canned) price, and quality ingredients. Of course, she wants people food, and that''s bad.
Now, why Amazon? At my grocery this same bag is $14.50. My dog LOVES this food. He eats his entire bowl in about 2.5 seconds. I’ve ordered this for almost a year now and always received the product as pictured (mentioning since other reviewers have had issues with it being a different food, I’ll update if I ever do have that problem. While scooping and transferring came across two very large golf-ball sized lumps. They were dark in color and exceptionally greasy. I have never had something like this in either Purina One or any other brand of dog food over my many years of being a dog owner. I wonder what the providence of this dog food actually is because the greasy feeling of these big chunks is not normal.

I''d send it back for a refund but I''ve already opened the bag and transferred it to the bin. I''m dumping this entire batch and this is the last time I purchase dog food from Amazon as I don''t trust where they''re getting it.
