Sides had came loose but thankfully nothing was missing/lost from box. All the parts were there. Instructions are pretty basic and simple to follow. Don''t get ya''lls hopes up, we are about done with the ''good''. Next issue was the lumbar support pillow was deformed on the right side at the bottom. Wasn''t filled out fully like the left side. Seems the foam insert was cut atad bit short on that bottom corner. No biggie, not like anyone was gonna see it, right??? Plus, alittle of the packaging material stuffed in it and almost good as new. Cushions not very ''butt-friendly'' but a pillow and we all good now. All the parts went together as they should. No other issues with the quality, but do have serious issues with some parts and the failure to insure design works as planned. The majority of my complains have to do with the armrest and poor manufacturing implementation. The armrest are crap. The spacing on the sides do not match so cannot be adjusted equally. Not out by much (about 1 inch) but makes sitting uncomfortable since your arms aren''t the same distance. Next is the height adjustment of said armrest. The right side is two notches lower than the left side. Surprisingly enough, the left side armrest is two notches higher than the right side, so it all equals out....no??? Wait, it get worse....way worse. The armrest do not move with the position of the back of the chair, so when you lean back, the armrest are now wrist/hand rest. Nothing supporting forearm or elbows. Not very comfortable. The armrest can also rotate about 10 degrees (?) in/out from centerline. I like the theory, but the manufacturing issa big FAIL!!! To rotate said armrest takes the very minimum of pressure, e.g. turn your head too fast and they move.....blink too hard and they move.....breath in/out too deeply and they move.....someone passes gas 10 miles away and they will move. Ya''''ll see a pattern here??? Did I mention there is so much slack when the armrest are supposedly ''locked'' into position that one can move the armrest almost half way to the next position without ''clicking'' the supposed ''locking'' mechanism??? Yeah, so much wiggle room there it would make a Hula performer jealous. To ''hold/lock'' the rotating armrest in place they use a spring loaded ball bearing sitting inna slot.....just WAG (WAG = USNavy terminology for Wild Assed Guess) about this......regardless, it totally Screws-the-Pooch and makes this almost a good chair into one that swallows. Too much of a PITA for me to go through all the loops/bullsheeit/hassle/cost to try and return it. Hey, I have power tools, time, and 50 years of tinkerin with stuff like this, sooooooo.......................... Bottom line, don''t waste ya''lls money on this POS.
