I placed 3 - 5 gallon springwater bottles (41.7lbs ea) 125.1lbs on the bottom shelf and the center of the shelf is visibly sagging, If I were to set them down hard I expect the shelf would bend or break so I will cut a board for even distribution of weight. I definitely would not put 250lbs per shelf evenly distributed as the description claims. I have a 6 quart crock pot and vacuum packer on the second shelf no visible signs of bowing. I put a 6 quart cast iron dutch oven and lid, 4 large pyrex mixing bowls that shelf has no visible sign of bowing.
