Compared yo skip hop models i find this one way bigger and accommodating backpack. Lunch box fits inside the bag easily with more room to put stuff. Can be used for a day travel too. Little big for 2 yr old to carry. Quality looks ok , has only one zipper on zip which is deal breaker. Comes with a clip to attach lunch box outside or a mat. Outside pocket is roomy enough to hold foldable potty seat and wipes small pack. Two mesh side pockets to hold big bottles is best.

Either way it’s nice. I put a couple of diapers and a thin pack of wipes in the front pocket, a cup in a side pocket and a change of clothes and some of his favorite toys in the large main pocket. There’s usually plenty of room for stuff and then some. I assume this will be good when he starts going to a preschool or daycare. I was hoping for something a bit smaller but I guess in this case we will just get more use out of it as he grows.

I bought this one due to the fact that in the previous JJ Cole back pack we had a child care worker put a milk bottle in my sons bag and it leaked everywhere. I threw it in the wash and you wouldn''t believe how it came out. The zippers were broken off, and it was like there were rips through the pack and the straps. It was the weirdest thing. Only through the wash and not the dryer. So, please do not throw these packs in the wash. They are obviously not meant for it. I think that the bottle pockets on the side can be another inch higher though, as the bottles sometimes fall out. Besides that, I love the little bags.
