I use my pressure washer year round as a washer and as a jetter to clear sewer lines. This product not only protects the pump from freeze damage , it lubricates the internals & prevents buildup of hard water scale. This design makes it simple to re winterize as often as needed. I’m averaging 1 can per season @ 10 plus treatments per can. If you disconnect the hose & only purge the pump VERY LITTLE product is used to evacuate the pump internals. Compared to products that come in a squeeze bottle and are pushed in or sucked, this is under pressure and does an efficient job of displacing water. I may stand corrected but it appears it may mix with water and create a freeze resistant emulsion. I’ve used similar products in the past but this is much less of a hassle to use. Some treatments require you to crank the pump to introduce the product, that’s a pain when you’re trying to squeeze a bottle in one hand and crank the engine over with the other & it’s cold out. My unit has to winter underneath the eves on the north side of my garage. It’s been subjected to long periods of extreme cold for several winters and I credit proper maintenance that it’s still running good. I received nothing in return for my review. I’m not associated with any product or seller. I recommend this product.

This little bottle of lubricant not only saves your extremely expensive pressure washer but your back as well. Here''s why... like a lot of people I bring my pressure washer in my basement for the winter, a unit is very difficult to move around a house and you run the risk of damaging the floor, walls, and the pressure washer itself. Then of course you have to get it out in the spring which is just as much of a pain in the butt. I have a 13 horsepower Honda pressure washer and the dealer suggested that I winterize the pump versus trying to bring the unit inside. I can''t believe I didn''t know that this stuff existed before last year. I''ll be honest, I was concerned that I''d be repairing a $500 pump or more in the spring but it worked exactly as advertised. I set it up in the spring and it worked perfectly. No water freezing in my pump to crack the housing therefore my tiny investment in this winterizing agent was money well spent. It will be for you too.

Buy this . I was using Karcher to save a few bucks but lately I couldn''t get it to go through and it leaked out everywhere . So I bought this hoping my pump wasn''t locked up ( see youtube for help if yours isnt working ) I figured it would be difficult to get through . Lol be careful I am use to the antifreeze just barely running out . I unlocked the cap , pushed the button and before I knew it my pants and shoe were covered with foam . This is great and this the larger size will last a few years for me . Some use regular antifreeze but I believe them when they say this lubricates for a dry start up too much better . It came off my white Puma''s pretty clean too .

It works great!! No pressure washer owner should be without it. Easy to use, no leaks, no squeezing and it doesn''t interfere with the washer frame like some other products. I use it every time I''m done with my pressure washer because I never know how long it will be stored until I use it next. I have sold pressure washers when employed at a large DIY store and I always recommended this to my customers. There are no swivel fittings (probably because they would be too expensive) so you need to spin the can when screwing it to the garden hose inlet. Follow the directions. If you use a water filter installed on the hose inlet you should remove it before attaching this.

I originally bought another brand from Home Depot for my ryobi gas pressure washer. You were suppose to squeeze the bottle until the fluid came out. I found this impossible to do. I squeezed with my hands, channel locks, tilted pw back and stepped on the bottle and nothing. Fought with it for about 45 and gave up. I bought this one from amazon and was done in 5 minutes. The pressurized can made it really easy with no physical effort from me. I recommend putting a bucket or a rag at outlet port because this stuff will shoot out a few feet. Gave it a few really good sprays to make sure i had alm the water out. I still have 3/4 can left. So I expect multiple uses.

I used to just flush the pump and run some antifreeze through my power washer pump at the end of the season. Big surprise when I got it out the next season and the pump kept sticking and I had to keep waiting on it. I talked with a repairman and he recomended I use this after every use, as it not only gets the water out but lubricates the seals. He said said the antifreeze or just the water evaporating was bad on the seals and moving parts. Since using this, I''ve had no problems at all. The cost of this is cheaper than rebuilding or replacing a pump, plus it works so much better.

This stuff is the best. Overall, not too expensive as one can last about nine months to a year. I am a total Do-it-Yourselfer and use pressure washers around my house (and job site) all the time. Just one little shot of this stuff and the pump seals, pistons, cams, etc. are lubricated. The other enviro stuff is junk, worthless. This is the best of this type of sealant and protection for your pumps. I have five washers, with the oldest from 1996, (craftsmen/generac 2350psi) yep (1996) and the newest from 2008 (excel 2500psi). I rotate the use of these washers. The craftsmen pump pistons pitted back in 1999 and failed. I replaced the three pistons and seals and did not know about this stuff back then. I have been using this stuff since that breakage and no pump has gone bad since. I have tried the enviro stuff since and it is junk, don''t waste your time and money on that stuff. Recommend this stuff right here, it does the job very well, nice lubricate and it''s pressurized. Just start using it.

This is the only power washer I have ever owned, and it did not know the virtues of using a pump lubricant. Boy am I impressed. It only took a 2 second burst for the lube to come out the other pump fitting, meaning this can will last for many many applications. The lube foams, so I suppose it fills the pump with foam lubricant. Easy to use.
I had problem starts, every time, where it felt like the motor would kick back when pulling the rope. It was scary and pretty hard on my hand. Also, if I was not pulling the trigger on the wand, I could not run the washer more than 2 or 3 seconds without the motor coming to an immediate stop. These were both due to the pump, because neither issue is present after just one application. I suspect there was a pressure valve stuck in the pump for when the motor is on and trigger is not pulled so the pressure bleeds back to the inlet. I don''t know how it works, but now it works; before the motor would crash to a stop. Not anymore. And no more kickback when I pull the rope, and no more constant surging of the motor. I''m amazed, absolutely amazed. I hope it works so well for everybody. I am a believer in it now, my pressure washer was a POS because I never lubed the pump in 5 hours of use in 4 years. It works so well now I''ll probably use it more often.
USE TIP: Connect a quick release connector to the adaptor on the can so you can just snap the can on, give it a burst, and snap it off....done. See the picture.
